It's not about the gym

It's not about the gym. As we get older it becomes more important to stay active. The goal is not to be good at the gym, it's to be good at doing things outside the gym. We lift heavy things to minimize the decline of our bones and muscles so we can pick up our grand kids.We run, row, bike to keep our heart and lungs healthy so we can go on an adventure with our friends or family. We eat healthy and make healthy choices to avoid preventable diseases like heart disease and diabetes. Exercise is simply a discipline to keep us functioning optimally for as long as possible.
